I'm officially divorced as of this morning, with the land title all in my name...
Everything was cordial... met at the courthouse, did the filing. Then had to hit up the lawyer's office for final land title transfer signatures. At the end, we're standing outside the office just making small talk... she goes in to give me a hug goodbye... I took a step back and extended my hand for a handshake. She's like "really?" and I'm like "what did you expect?"
Oddly enough she seemed a bit teary eyed.. she didn't cry, but it's like she kept wanting to step forward into a hug. I shook her hand, wished her all the best, got in the car and peeled out of there screaming WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
