I stopped over by Detailers Domain yesterday to get a quote for a paint correction and 2-3 or 3-4 year paint sealer. Phil's partner was impressed with the condition of the paint and how it's still in great condition for its age. Hopefully I can nail a deal on some minty A-spec wheels.

I purchased the A-spec wheels about 8 years ago from a local member who got a real A-spec TL as a 1st car. Unfortunately, he was "still learning" on how to drive. The wheels have curb marks and over the 8 years i've owned them, the finish has worn from the car wash and the weather. I didn't care much about it since they are "winter" wheels and not my show piece. Over time, my wife has said that the A-spec wheels should get refinished. The powder coating shop can't match the color and I really don't want to change the color of them so I would rather find a minty set. Luckily someone on Azine does have a flawless set in the same finish I have. I would rather get my hands on the 18 x 8.5 set but you know they are almost impossible to come by. If the seller is willing to accept my offer, I'll have some minty A-specs. As for the exterior detailing. The TL has gotten two paint corrections and it's coming due for another light correction. I want to seal the paint and buy some time on the clear coat and not worry about it. The paint 14 years old and pretty soon to be 15 years! Some vehicles at 10 years have paint fade, clear coat damage, ect. I'm trying to preserve the original paint. I don't think anyone that owns a 3rd gen TL would show the same love.

My arcade games back then were a steady diet of Capcom fighters starting with the SF2 and into SF3...Really enjoyed the side-scroller like Aliens vs. Predator and Final Fight too. When SNK rolled out their games, I was quite into Samurai Shodown and was pretty good at that too. But, the SF2 franchise was my go-to. I mastered all of the characters (albeit, that was not the case for SFIII as I did not get good enough with some of the newer characters like Oro and Remy) and could stay on the machine for most of an afternoon. If I wanted to really flex my muscle, you guessed it, it would be either Ken or Ryu...but, it got too old so, towards the end, I was more often using Guile or Dhalsim. Really liked Fei Long. Once in a while, a really good player would show up that required me to defer to Ken/Ryu if I lost out.



I "retired" when the new gen of arcade fighters came with 232141234-hit combos. I just never could get good enough with those because I was so used to the combos I had practiced in the previous gen. games. And oh, the super jumps were something I could not get used to.



Only time I got $$$ for playing was when we played for $$$. But, it was never serious and as students, most we could toss around were a few bucks...yay, free snacks afterwards or dinner for all at McD's.

I think the RDX is great for what it is. I have no use for one as it's a little pricey to load three dogs into, but it's a great value.
