Last week, after over a year of delay, the final widget for a box of doohickeys was delivered at work. So I've been able to actually turn off my computer and haven't even thought about work for 4 days now.

Been off since Wednesday. Time has flown.
Frankly, I've really enjoyed this Christmas. The lockdown has taken away the usual pomp and circumstances needed for this holiday and the quietness and ability to just do what I feel like is...awesome. And oh, another theme of other Christmas holidays was catching a lovely cold thanks to some family member who showed up carrying a bug.
None this year.
Hoping for next year's to be like this too.

Null and proud of it
Went back to the barn and saw my old man again.... it's been over two years since I left.... a lot has changed, but a lot also hasn't... it was a very long overdue visit... Paw paw has no idea who anyone is anymore. He's so sweet and polite now though and isn't spewing venom at me like he did in the summer of 2018 before I left. We just found out he has stage 4 prostate cancer and has about a month or two left. The sitter that was a psychopath and turned him on me was fired, the other two have had two great years with him, and he was a riot, up until the last month or two. I was glad to see him even though he had no freaking idea who the hell I was. Despite everything, it's s been a good day. I needed to see him.

Well judging from the Louisiana in your location line, that venom was probably pretty real. Your dad's the one on his way out, or that's your grandfather? Either way, good of you to head down there. Hopefully it brings you some peace!
Just installed my new PCV valve. Trying to build my confidence up towards the spark plugs. I did them on a corolla, but did not realize the way our V6 sits you have to take off the sway bar and there's barely any room back there. Oh well, once that's handled it seems doable!

Spent the non-raining part of my NYE swapping out the front three plugs. With this massive $50 socket/wrench/allen key set i bought from Home Depot, this was SUPER easy tbh. I am used to working on cars with an assembly of shit pulled from my dad's sock drawer These old Plugs look pretty hurt! Can't wait to get some nice weather Saturday and go at the back 3
NGK's pulled out at 130k. They must be factory!
a mystery for another day

...and you had the opportunity to start 2021 not being a dipshit
Happy New Year, All of Y'alls!
FmAlla, rear 3 aren't bad, just be methodical about removing things and taking your time not to drop anything.
Lay a towel on the intake and lack across it...maybe even play some Vivaldi while doing so.
