Counterpoint: try to get shot.

Null and proud of it
Probably going to stay around Bellevue or Sugar Land.
Trying to see how y'alls population density and architecture compares to mine.
Getting shot, not too worried, I do live in NOLA after all.

Crabman. Hope he doesn't get you out in The Woodlands. Where you live. Up north of Houston. In The Woodlands.

Looks like Woodlands is kinda like our Covington.
Lotta trees and space. Not my cup of tea.
I really want to see what the neighborhoods and businesses look like. Like the older suburbs from the 60s and 70s.
I've seen pics and yt vids and it looks a lot like JP.

You're talking about Houston? Pretty cool city, a lot of the highways in the center of town are cool in that they take you right by skyscrapers about 10-15 stories off the ground, if that makes sense

Yeah.
Bellair Blvd pretty much looks exactly like New Orleans. LOL
Emded up finding a place to stay by Audi Sugarland.
I know a lot of you guys live here and I've heard
H-Town resembles NOLA in a lot if ways, which it does.
Still, I think New Orleans is more aesthetically appealing throughout it's metro, but I haven't driven around town enough to decide that yet.
But yes, Houston does look a lot like a Louisiana city, NOLA, BR, Lafayette....

I think they're pretty cool. I grabbed him with a pitchfork and yeeted him out of the bin and he did the big snarl like he was gonna fuck around and find out... But still let me pet him before he trotted off and over the fence.

Bought some solid parts. How does this install quote sound to you guys?
LCA Bushings - Quoted $300 for the install on both sides from a guy from MDXers.org. is this a good price, y'all? Should i be replacing more than just LCA bushings if I'm paying that $300 anyway? I bought OEM bushings at $50/ea. Then he'll do an alignment for $100 afterwards
PCV Valve - do it myself
NGK plugs - Do em myself
Rear bosch Brake pads - Probably borrow a jack set, borrow the brake spacer from autozone, and then see how I'm feeling. The biggest challenge will be jacking my car up for the first time

MM wishes. That bin of festering rain water and food scraps is a marginal step up from the Drury he's at.

Eh, it was a good trip and definitely something I needed to do.
I had to drive back to NOLA last night, more like, left H-Town at 9 and got to NOLA at 4 am. Wentbto work from noon to 7. Exhausting, but worthwhile.
H-Town isn't nearly as big as I expected. IDK, it just felt small and easy to navigate.
Plenty of U-turns and medians like Louisiana.
Houston is basically a giant Baton Rouge. Population density is still very light.
Compared to NOLA, H-Town is sparce, lots of open land. Especially between Downtown and Hobby
I went through every area, my favorite, probably Stafford/SGL area. Lexington Blvd was nice. Reminds me of Chateau Estates in North Kenner.
In suburban NOLA, our pop density is about like Bellaire or University district. Main st by 610 on the SW side, kinda like that.
I'm guessing it'll eventually fill in around there.
Oh, and Woodlands looks a lot like Covington LA, kinda what I expected.
Katy was extremely disappointing..... That place is basically a small country town with a shopping mall.
But yes, Houston's infrastructure is pretty much a copycat of Louisiana.
Only thing I disliked was the dark interstate highways through town. Very little markings.
I left town during that storm last night, and I couldn't see shit in the rain. Y'all need more street lights.
