I walked out onto the porch for an evening smoke and saw an identical-to-mine silver 04-06 TL ride by. I physically saluted and said "that's absolutely gorgeous" out loud, to myself. What a life

I feel that way every time I see a 3G TL.
Weathertechs sucked...the way they installed mainly, didn't really care about the brand although oem is always best.

 

I have had Weathertechs since forever for all my cars except the MINI. It's not terrible and gets the job done esp. with the messy winters up here...albeit, if I were in a climate like FL and it was just rain, I'd be OEMing foh shoh.

I've got weathertechs in the wagon; bought 2nd hand because I'm cheap.

Was going to get some for the 4runner but found that one of the knockoff-ish brands did a better job of covering the floor and up onto the sills.

Regardless, whatever brand I go with, I make sure to install them and then put the OEM carpet back in, and then put some Tasmanian Devil rubber mats from Jotozone on top. Then they get all jammed up under the brake and gas pedals so it's like fuckin' hyperspeed errywhere.

Found a solid guy in the DMV who will do a trans empty/fill for $40 and mount + balance wheels for $220. Seems like he's gonna be my go to for anything that takes more than one wrench!

Just saw a black 04-06 with some nice copper wheels. I don't hate my stock wheels anymore, but the silver still doesn't look right on my satin silver body. I might paint them metallic until i do something stupid like buy these

Sometimes, i think if going with 19" bronze/copper waffles on my AV6, but I'm leaning towards some titanium silver 20 spokers. Like on the new IS200 or like a BMW would have.
