Damn I was searching a few weeks back and Nippon-Yasan /JP post looked like they lifted the USA restrictions and I was about ready to pick up the GX-72 but lagged on it... Just got some good news from work perspective and figured time to treat myself and now the restriction is back on due to COVID... I guess i could just pay for UPS International shipping
I'd also get it before Christmas so there's that.. @Yumcha

USPS has fucked up my shipments this month.
Shipped something Nov 24 from Canada. Arrives in JFK on the 25. Expected delivery: Dec 4 to Cali. It's Dec 11 now and it's still stuck in JFK.
Meanwhile ship a pair of side mirrors on Dec 3 to OR. Got delayed but ultimately still arrived in a timely manner (arrived yesterday on Dec 10).

Without the PS tune they are "fast enough". Fantastic cars though!
Man I really wanted a new V60 or V70... but... yes... I got the older inline 5 with spooly boi. It just felt like the right move going with a Volvo.
It was incredibly slow when I first got it. But a new 3" downpipe with 3" exhaust changed it. Got a few other minor mods coming in to improve drivability some more.
I got it in auto as it was my work/daily car... and immediately wished I opted for the manual. Factory 4 piston front and rear brembos going on soon.
FUN FACT: The V70R front brembo CAN bolt up to the TL brembo if you machined the bolt-hole slightly larger. With my quick math you'd be able to run a roughly 14" rotor. I'm actually considering doing it... just gotta find a 14" rotor to test it out.
The V70R (and S60R) are still holding their value really well actually! Even with just a new intercooler and maybe a light tune the car really goes.
