The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (ʎluO sɹǝsoo7)
My wife wants a Y but she doesn't want another car payment.
I want to see what the ownership experience of the Model 3 is before I go out and get another Tesla.
I also went ahead and unblocked everyone. Yes, even @Midnight Mystery

ive been toying with the idea of Model Y. But I’m hearing some issues with it.
Thinking about buying another van next year to replace the EX-L Ody. I’m content with the TSX because it has no car payment
Thanks MM! Yeah, the Audi is gone. I started having all kinds of weird problems with it (mirrors not moving, windows opening randomly, semi-regular infotainment resets). Finally I had an engine issue. The warranty is almost up, so I parted ways.
Nope, lol. White seats.
He's a Honda guy.
Also, like Mystery Meat, he loves balls.

Obvi other dog's name is Ferrari
Congrats on the Tesla, Kurt.
So I guess you just confirmed for me
that the B8.5 is the last solid platform.
So far the only odd problem I had was
a bad injector after doing the valve cleaning.
Occasionally my gas door seems confused as
to whether the car is unlocked. Not bad for a
year and a half @86K miles.

Sunday for me was birthday breakfast with my cuzzo (his, not mine)
then lay on the couch and bed all day with my lady watching
Nurse Ratched...ordered ceviche for dinner...
perfect fuckin day.
Honestly, if I wasn't motivated and a shade tree mechanic...
I would probably be turned off by Audi and German in general.
But alas...valve cleaning cost me $50 for both cars because I
bought a walnut shell blaster and little odds and ends. Found
out that FCP Euro does lifetime warranty on everything including moly oil
and spark plugs...literally when it's used up, you order the next batch and
and send in the old stuff and they refund you. So you only buy it once...
then autohausaz is another gem I found that sells you the oem parts without
the Audi stamp on it...example...vdo continental injector with audi stamp $185...
without it, same fuckin thing literally couldn't tell it apart...$105.
Anyway, doing shit like that makes it so German ownership isn't that daunting...
and obviously super rewarding to drive.

Bro, they reached out to their parts manager with Audi to get a fuel pump listed for me...
it was priced pretty high but they did that for me...listed it, shipped it immediately after confirming
fitment...then when I realized it was a bad injector instead...not a problem fuckin refund the $430
