Oh righto.

FF7R is not FF7 per se. It's a retelling/recreation of the original masterpiece. And the remake is also just really the Midgar chapter...so, the expanded world is not available. Likely in the upcoming FF7R Part 2 sequel.

If you wish...that being said, FF7R is just fabulous. Stunning graphics and soundtrack.

I'm so tempted to buy the Turbografx 16 mini that just came out. A buddy of mine got one back when I was still playing the NES and it was like seeing an alien.

But it'll just sit in a corner collecting dust. So I'mma save the $100 and invest it.

And by "invest it" I mean, "don't do anything with it either"

maybe because my wife handles the schooling. My 6 year old is independent and in his room doing school. 5 year old is downstairs with the wife. I’m in my office meeting with dicks I mean doctors all day.

counting down the days I go back to my previous role.

Fuuuuuuck... WagonJr is the kid spinning around in his chair, constantly fiddling with shit, half ass paying attention. And if I leave him alone to independently work through assignments so I can, like, take a shit or take a phone call... I come back and he'll be playing some video game or something.

I had to install some nanny locks so that I can block youtube on his computer. And had to set time limits so he's not up all night fucking around on it.

I have been very surprised when he's on and engaged though. When he wants to he can be a good student. From our past few years, I didn't think that was the case.

But if he wants to he can totally be a little smart guy. Shit of it is that he doesn't want to most of the time.

My kids for the most part behave. On occasion I give the 5 year old the “if you don’t stop” look. The kids in his class on the other hand need to be beat.

one little shit was like “look this is my nurf gun, I shoot people with it.” Psycho path little shit.

some kid was hanging upside down from his bed one day.

then we have the dumb parents.

the teacher puts them in groups and calls them break out rooms in Zoom. My son and another kid where going over letters. The kids asked my kid what is this letter and showed him. My son says G like giraffe. The mom jumps in and says No, G like Jellyfish.”

your parents must have not beat you as a child.

Well shit. TF. I should have called the police. Although, since this kid is privileged nothing would happen.

The school sent home a packet of materials to use with the learning program. Included were 20 "math blocks" which are cubes that have 5 holes a 1 nub so the can sort of be attached like Lego.

Jr was fucking around with them today, usually he makes a jet or a rocket, but today he make a pistol. And he artfully used the 10 black blocks as the barrel and trigger and the 10 white blocks as the furniture.

I was pretty impressed actually because it looked pretty good. For something that looks like a minecraft character would use. But I had visions of that exact scenario playing out if he were to brandish it on camera.

Which is strange that 12-year old Isaiah didn't get shot 27 times when the popos showed up for his nerf blaster.

Although, being Colorado, they were probably high and forgot to shoot him

I don't see how this "distance learning" will accomplish much of anything other than causing everyone headaches.
