and The FLASH...
okay so I had an early bed time...like 8 or 9...
Mom loves having her hair brushed so if I offered to do that she would let me stay up.
Going over to Grandpas also meant I'm watching Stairway to Heaven, Hawaii 5.0, Hart to Hart, Columbo, Rockford Files, 6 Million Dollar man....
shit, I had a teddy bear from when I was super young...probably 4 or 5 named Radar because M.A.S.H. was my favorite show. I still get goose bumps
if I hear the theme song.

I, uh, have never heard of that show actually. Just looked it up.
Sooo... in my house growing up, Fox and shows that played to, uh... "certain demographics" weren't watched. If you know what I mean. So no Fresh Prince either.

Your parents own a bodega that had a door chime that said ______________ when a black guy came in like in "Don't be a menace to SC while drinking your juice in the hood"?
I love those sorts of dreams. The feeling of sheer panic right before waking up and realizing that I'm not in my shitty apartment sleeping on a shitty mattress on the dirty floor surrounded by empty beer cans.
The moment that my brain clicks and realizes that we're not in school and don't have to deal with that anymore is glorious!

, high grades was beat into me and I had scholarships. Then, on top of that, got hired as a TA and also moonlit as a piano teacher on my weekends.Zero debt at time of graduation.
My Parents raised me to have a deep respect for most asian culture and people.

Purple One.
