He has been wanting to buy my springs for almost a year. I knew I was gonna end up with coils just didn't know when. I thought about just shipping them to him but this way seems more funner. And it sounds as if he doesn't have alot of space. If it works out and I can get there early I may see if he wants to try and put them in. I can bring all the tools except a spring compressor if I have to.
And I am not talking this Thursday (tomorrow) but next thursday the 14th just to be clear.

I did my 2x3 (second drain and fill; first since the slipping started) today using the D4. Damn that stuff smells bad. Anyway, on the test drive, the slipping stopped. I plan on doing another drain and fill with D4 again, and then 2 more with DW-1. That will be 5 drain and fills, and I hope eliminate my problem forever.

tranny died on me today. I almost made it home and eventually had to pull over. I could rev my engine while in drive or reverse, just like it was in neutral. After it sat for a few minutes with the car off, I tried it again and it went into gear. Limped it home and parked it.

You only have 61k miles on your car? Now you got me worried...

Fluid. If it got back in gear when it cooled down a bit, it's more than likely fluid related. What drain and fills have you done and what level is the ATF. Might end up putting in a cooler to keep it spec.
