On older pickups the seal was in the truck. I removed a back glass when I had a snug top on my 89 ranger.
This one looks to be a whole assembly. its a 2000 F150.
And no I couldn't reuse if I wanted to. The frame that held the slider window is bent to shit. Busted pass side and middle glass. Dr side is untouched.
I will most likely be replacing with a solid piece. I am not a big fan of the sliding window unless it is controlled by a switch. Too easy for theft.
I haven't online price checked yet or looked for replacement instructions. I will be researching a ford forum later. I go back to work tomorrow for a week then vacation for 2 weeks but supposed to be leaving for Houston the 12th ish.
My car is still torn apart waiting on bolts from acura as well. This will be the first time I have had to plastic tape a window in my vehicle and it is a little upsetting and disappointing.
Just glad I did it and not one of my kids, I would probably be alot more upset.

Justn and Majofo were mad that we had the coolest thing out and they weren't apart of it. So they pouted and started this thread.
But its all good. I have learned that there are a few things Steven does not like seeing posted. I have ridden that line pretty hard, but he straightened me out kinda.

Newer fords have the rear power slider window. And the original bronco had a roll down window.
As far as whats out now I believe so. Honda odyssey came out with side slider door roll down windows in 05.
I read a couple leaking window f150 threads and I believe the seal that is in frame can be re-used. Just need to find the glass. Online about 300.00.
The window itself is 100. The shipping is 200.00. But I have a bargaining piece to go to JY with. If I can get one around 120.00 I will be happy. Looks to be about a 2 hour install with cleaning old glue off.
I think it will be a notsobadtodojobbutreallywishIdidnthavetodoitjob.

I really dig that feature. Anyways.. pickings might be slim out in those parts, but there's a good glass guy, local to me, who does a replacement for 60 on sides and 250 on front if the seal is reusable. I'm guessing the rear would be about 150. Might check around.. hope you find something reasonable.. I'm sure you will.

Regarding the squad.. 
I received so many PM's mocking the Squad thread, including some from mods and two girls, including one who has ties to the squad.

This is truck country though. I have a span of 97-03 f150 and 97-98 f250 to choose from. Pretty sure it shouldn't be too hard.
I am not too worried about the labor, just not looking forward to it. At least its not raining or 20 degrees. I am sure it will be the day I try to install the new glass.

I have a friend that owns a glass shop. I buy from him at $10 over his cost and do all my glass myself. You would be shocked at the markup.

Glad I went when I did. The junkyard had 1 left and pulled it for me today in case someone else came for it this week. 100.00 out the door and its already tinted.
Got my motor mounts in today. And I have to put up xmas lights still.
Go to work for a week then a big ass list to do in 2 days before i leave. I am tired just thinking about it.

Well, first day back and I really don't want to go to work. Went to 6 am safety meeting then home for a couple hours.

Yeah I pulled a couple late night black ops II and it caught up.
My car is down waiting on rear toe bolts and my truck has plastic for a back window right now.
I have 2 days to fix my car, fix my truck, hang xmas lights, do a few other things I didn't done and be ready to leave wed. morning next week.
Gonna try and be in San Antone wed night and hit up beezle and whoever else is down for a couple drinks and hopefully Houston thursday to meet up with I are Legend and drop off his springs. Then Florida bound friday for a few days.
So if you are around thursday Justn maybe meet up after work for a few also. And whoever else from Houston that is around.
