Alright Yummy, maybe it just spiraled a bit out of control. My first lock so I might have been a little "tight" if you know what I mean but it's all good and I'll try and to keep my thread on topic in the picture forum.

As far as a chat, maybe the handful of us that NORMALLY do bs with each other can make a new thread where we carry on our :ghey: jokes and personal discussions and let our friendships bloom. Tyler, Austin, Chad, Aaron and Morgan, thanks for taking the time for sharing how you felt too... meant a lot.

In fact, I'll start it

About the FX, LOVE It, especially in white. What exact rims do you have on order, Yum? What finish and size?

I understand why you closed it, but not sure why we're allowed to have a "zillion will these tints look good on my car threads" and not another chat thread.

Oh well, I feel like I tried.

edit: I lied, i had a few FS threads I had locked up too.

J well we had a good run in that thread.

Honestly I know some of you do this already, but get some off site chat room going so you are not under the scrutiny of having to worry about things. I don't see what the big deal is about chatting in other threads, but then again it's not up to me.

Matt, yep...all good man.
And PS...it was asked or mentioned before...and come to South Florida...where you can go into a TINT shop and ask for TINTS and nobody will bat an eye. Fish and Fishes is correct, wtf does everyone care so much? It's not like we're writing supposively/supposibly instead of supposedly. When THAT happens a baby kitten is beheaded.

Well, since I took the time to search in photobucket for something fun, I'm not NOT going to post it...

Cool.

They are Lorenzo WL28s. Black. Needed a second set of wheels for winter as the stock Enkeis are really meant for summer and not for the climate I live in.

20's? Love em...I love a spoked wheel where the spoke goes to the edge of the rim, AND they're a simple 5 spoke. Awesome.

If you would believe me, it's not MY rule.

But, there are many sides of the coin for this. And I strongly believe in the other argument:

Consider that a thread about a specific TOPIC is meant for just that. Information...sharing of RELEVANT information.

The entire purpose is that people can then down the road, do a search, and find the answer or topic of interest without wading through a bazillion pages of...well, filler...

Can you imagine if there was a thread in Automotive News about the Cadillac CTS-V and it balloons to 100+ pages with 99% of it silly jokes, gifs, and unrelated videos? It would be useless.

If you boys want to socialize, I again will say this: You have Ramblings (ALL OF IT), this thread, and other chat threads created all over the place. If still not enough, well, can't really help you there. You guys really just need to talk to each other all over the place...maybe, do some Apple Facetime?

21". It was like, Mission: Impossible to find pretty much anything out there in that size.

But, I had existing 21" Bridgestone winter tires and after doing some number crunching, did not make sense for me to just give them up and buy 18s or 22s to go with new rubbers too.

That's a good point...I guess I just never figured anyone would be searching my "build" picture thread for any useful information. But, truth is, I don't own the bandwidth so really the content is kinda mine but my acting like I own the thread wasn't right either. I get it.

And to be honest...a lot of times I have encountered what you just mentioned...I'm searching for a fix for something and I have to sift through many manure to get to that golden piece of corn I'm looking for.

EDIT:
Yeah, 21's are a tough size to find ANYTHING for...although they used to say the same for 19's before they became popular and somewhat standard wheels. They're going to look great. You might love them so much you get some all weathers for them after the winter and keep the all year.

But, I agree...move on at this stage...as I said, if there's more questions/etc. on today's incident, by all means, PM me.

OK... that's a lie. Whoever decided to bring out the ZDX before a new NSX needs a backhand to the face. That and the X6...

No idea what made Acura think they needed 3 similar-type models and yet, no coupes.

That was my beef. I didn't really like the ZDX too much but then again, didn't find it as horrid-looking as say, the X6.

I was working at the Acura booth at the Toronto auto show last year, and some bozo actually got herself trapped inside the backseat of a ZDX. Couldn't find the door handle.

From this page it looks like i have missed alot being on an AZ hiatus. Wowza!! Can we not talk ab pointless stuff here anymore?

I've been so busy lately since my youngest started walking, within a couple of days she began running... oh and my sons taught her how to play soccer. Needless to say i have been tied up nonstop running around chasing craziness and picking up after them (picture broken picture frames, candles, you name it). Yummy, this is what you have to look forward to!! LOL.

hey im pretty new here. recently bought a TL-S, and doing some own minor lighting mods myself for the first time (havent the slightest clue about cars really). wasnt sure where to post this, so i figured maybe general thread is safe

i thought i'd start with the license plate lights. they are really dim (stock) so i bought some LEDs to try. after following the garage DIY links, i managed to take off the trunk liner, unplugged the license plate bulbs, took them out of the outer plastic shell, but then i could not remove the bulb itself from its casing.

has anyone run into this ? am i doing it wrong? i just have the casing, and am pulling on the bulb directly. it doesnt budge at all

im wondering if maybe the bulb is stuck or fused onto the casing somehow?

thanks in advance

^ I had 15% and it was not too dark, but too light either. I would rather have 5% but I have had too many tickets in the past. Trying to stay away from anymore, so I went 15%.

As im getting a little older, I dont wont to worry about rolling down windows when I see cops, or always being paranoid driving around.

Really tired this morning. After I got off work yesterday @ 1, I came home and started putting some sound deadner in the car (CLD,MLV,CCF). Trunk is done, drivers side door is done, passenger side almost done. All I have left is the floors and rear deck.

Cant wait to see how quiet my car is after this.

On the other hand. It did feel GREAT driving around with the whole interior/trunk stripped. Acceleration was crazy. I even think one time I experinced what Inacc. talked about before (something about accelerating too fast and the ECU or trans couldnt keep up with the acceleration).
I have been riding around for a week with a 1/4 tank of gas and interior stripped looking for a challenge on the street.

I'm also curious about this as I think some cars look better with darker tint and some look better with lighter tint, depending on the color or the car. The red and silver TL look great with really dark tint. My nbp was tinted when I got it, but the rear windshield, rear window, and front windows all have different colors of tint on them. (In order or darkest tint to lightest tint).

I was thinking about getting the whole thing redone, but I don't know how dark I want to go yet. I want to improve the side appearance of the car because in my opinion that is the cars worst angle. I'm hoping that if the tint blends real nice where there really isn't any contrast from the body of the car to the windows, it will look a lot better.

Any opinions on the subject?
