Besides, as we learned with the JJH fiasco, since there was no warning, Tylers thread should be allowed to continue the way it was without any intervention.

Morgan, appreciate the input. But, if you did read the 7 pages, you will also understand that I was repeating myself over and over and over again and Tyler was still trying to beat a dead horse. End of the day, he was miffed he did not get a PM on a temporarily closed thread...we reopened it. What was his deal? I hate to say it, and it may be a shock to some people here but, not all situations warrant a PM if a thread is to be locked.
So, without getting angry, I resorted to my usual standard sarcasm/snarking. Best I could do.
End of the day, no damage done...Just a request from the mod group that people try to stay on topic for threads NOT designated as "chat" threads. Kinda like what I requested in your FR-S thread.

Tyler wasn't the only one that was locked or miffed, I was just point blank got ignored when I shared my concern here. Yumcha never even frequents my thread. Probably the page count gave it away.
It's was never a "big deal" until you started acting like we were little bishes for asking why it happened or stating that we didn't like it. It wasn't the lock, the desire for a heads up, or even the lock. It was the "too fkn bad" attitude that caused the escalation.
Morgan, thanks for answering my question. So what are we to do if we enjoy posting pictures of our rides AND chatting it up with buddies of ours on topic and off topic? Have a ramblings "build" thread in addition to photo section one?
As someone that considers himself and helpful member that follows the rules, this is the first time that I've been a little baffled by this site. Best car forum I've ever been on and I'll always help make it better if I can. But if this muscle flexing for the sake of making us follow a rule that isn't hurting or bothering anyone in reference to my personal thread is a power trip...well, I'm sure most of you can relate to how you feel about board members on your homeowner's association. Who police's the police?

And I have no idea how locking a thread temporarily is "muscle-flexing". The request is simple (and I'm still in shock how many times it is now being repeated): if you want to chat, chat in threads like this...pretty much anything goes in here as you can see. So, post away with the funny gifs, videos, gay jokes, or whatever...no problem! But, keep these things away from the other threads. Those were never places for this. PM ANY moderator/admin on AZ and you'll get the same answer.
If you are wondering why nothing was done until today well, call it "unlucky" that I happened to click on them and notice what was happening.
Enough of this. If you need to really debate this more, by all means send me a PM and/or someone else. I'm not kidding also if this includes what you think is an "abuse of power"...let the higher ups (i.e. Admins) know your concerns! I'm not trying to call some bluff here. If you're that unhappy with my performance, let my superiors know!

Communication is key. Zero communication sucks. Being a dick is just as bad form.
With the occasional malware link sprinkled here and there, of course
I believe the smilie you are looking for is :beatdeaddillo:

I would also like to add, that we like talking to specific friends in our threads. Coming to Ramblings makes everyone talk in one place so we can't stay on the topic we few people we were discussing.
It's like being in a small group and then the teacher goes, "Alright, we can't have all this BS, everybody, get in one group." Then we have 30 people talking at once.
The chat in our threads gives the ability to talk to our friends, post our cars, and discuss many topics. It's still open for everyone to see and if someone has a question, they post, and it gets answered.
I get PM's occasionally and they're like, "I tried searching but I couldn't find it, blah blah" and most of the time I will reply with, "It's okay, there is a lot of posts to sift through, (I then answer them directly)".
But honestly, if there was say...20 pages of pure car info, you would still have trouble finding exactly what you're looking for.
I have never once seen someone post (besides a mod or admin) "There is way too much bullshit, stfu and make your thread a real build thread." Why? Because everyone (for the most part) enjoys communicating with each other, a lot of us are open and willing to talk about things, whether it's car related or not, because we're all here for the same reason.
I believe Morgan hit it on the head though, without all these "Ramblings" and "Sub Forums", this would just be another shitty looking, stale, and pure information forum. If we wanted pure information we would consult a manual or the likes. A forum is meant to be this way, open and fun.
Hell without this forum, my car would still be stock, I wouldn't have more great friends, and I wouldn't have met J.

Yours is white too?
But this is not 50
All I did is white license plate led, white doors led, and now parking bulb.
But natural white, not like 6k bluish. Flows with the car nicely

Yeah, white on black interior. I may eventually get the illuminated door sills. Well, got some Lorenzo rims on order. Any day out...and in time for winter.

Oh also has illuminated door sills.
Definitely get it, this car needs those.
I like the java interior more but he has the smallest rims.
Couldn't make him buy the sport one, he didn't want tough ride and it was gray color one
this rim
