That's not fair. I only shoot dillos. Sorry they are so dear to you!! There are no armadillos in this thread for me to shoot (not alive anyway) so I don't carry here. There is this one annoying pink puppy with a shit eating grin I've been eyeing though!!

Thanks for the support but you can burn his ass at the stake for all I care. I was eluding to the fight with the mods over the thread locking.

Tyler, again...I know that you're angry. But, really fail to see your rationale. At this stage, we are going in circles and unfortunately, you will not change my mind on this matter.
The "mod posse" you talk is not some elitist group and many have very challenging jobs. To make AZ what it is (apparently you love it here) takes effort and work that is not readily transparent to you at times...and yes, you need to believe it.
We are tasked by the Admins to make decisions often and your protocol of a courtesy PM only is warranted in the right context. Again, your thread became something else on its own and so, in many ways, was NO LONGER YOURS. You decided to go along with the mob and voiced no issues does not mean it is proper.
Your car's build thread is exactly that...meant for your car and what mods you have. If it goes OT, if a moderator sees it, chances are, it will be locked and even in some cases, vacations handed out. Always has been this way. You were just lucky it was not noticed for quite some time.
I changed my mind about going all day about this. This is my last response on this matter... your thread is reopened and at the end of the day, you have nothing to be unhappy about. Chill.

I am aware of how much work mods have to do to keep this place running, I just don't know why my thread was a problem all of a sudden. Did someone complain? Was something said in the thread that violates rules?
I'm glad it's reopened but it never should have been locked in the first place

We are going in circles. But I'll say one more thing.
Tyler's thread, as an example, has always been nonsense. He went along with the mob, his friends, because we are here to enjoy ourselves. This went on for a very, very long time. So much so that it was the norm. Now all of a sudden it isn't. And instead of a casual PM informing him of this change, his thread was locked down, publicly. So I'd say it's not what was done, but instead, the way it was executed. Make sense?
Who knows. Maybe he felt somewhat publicly humiliated because his thread got locked down for what we would all consider "the norm". And it was the norm because the governing bodies did not do their job in the first place.
I've been an admin or a moderator on forums for longer then I care to remember. And I found you have to treat it like being a boss. You reprimand your employees behind closed doors. Not in front of their peers.
