How do you feel about them overall? I'm having some problems with them over the past 2 months in my area and they've been less than helpful.
Sick is honeymooning in his 300 now but where's WD? Isn't Tuesday his internet day?

what sort of problems are you having? i've used them my entire adult life and never had any real issues.
i was going to swith to FIOS, but i don't like their layout or package deals.
comcast makes things easy.

Internet is intermittent...and that's being generous. If I even can connect to my network, I get DNS lookup server issues and can't browse the web, play XBL, or anything else. I think I need a new modem/router (provided by Comcast) but they've been against giving me one for the past 2 months.

You should make your gateway and IP addy static.

Also, stop downloading sketchy porn.

Is that something I can do by logging into the router and updating the settings? FWIW, I updated my DNS settings to use Google's servers instead of my ISP but that didn't work. I'll check with that link you posted when I get home (if I can connect).

Go to your connection settings. Click the support tab of the status window. Copy down the Default Gateway and Subnet Mask.
Go back to the General tab, click Properties. In the properties window, scroll down and double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
If you don't already have your IP address set.. make it something within the allowed address range, just not the last address or the first to be safe (typically). The exact address space is dependent on your subnet mask (e.g. if Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, range is .1 to .254, if it's 255.255.252.0 it's from 0.1 to 3.254).
Then set the DNS server to your default gateway, and keep google dns as alternate. If that doesn't work, make sure to clear out your DNS cache.. ccleaner is my preference to knock out all my activity.
if it still doesn't work, drive to comcast.. and throw their router through their window.

Switched to FIOS and now I get my pr0ns 20x faster
Where the hell is Austin? I haven't seen him posting lately. Hopefully he didn't clip a low hanging bridge
You can customize packages, but they make it difficult to do so on their website.
Abortions?

They just dropped their prices too. Surprisingly, not many people signed up for it. They wouldnt have had that problem if they chose Richmond, VA

It's only legitimate if she's not pregnant.
Also, Apple fiber will require a proprietary cable and connector that will change every 3 months.

Since Google Fiber will be sued by Apple when Tim has some constipation down the road and realizes that the apples he's eating for fiber is a copy...or uses the same name...or something.

I can't wait until Apple sues Pagani because the Zonda looks like the iPad from afar. And if you squint your eyes.

Yay for another shitty day...
Handsfreelink decided it was time to go and my friend accidentally cracked a small corner of my passenger-side rear taillight when she slammed my trunk closed.

Today my handsfree insisted on dialing 0101010, 90909090, and 0911. LOL. No matter how i spoke it just scrambled it and made up its own mind.
