problem with the hemi's is that everything is rediculously expensive to re do. I can get a new reman longblock for 3500 to 4000 and a junkyard engine with 60000 miles for 2000. doesnt make much sense to worry about rebuilding it for the same price if not more than it will cost to buy it already remanufactured. Im not looking to keep this in the long term, im just looking to get it running, clean it up and flip it. i would love to keep it but i need cushon since paying for the wedding is taking up all my funds
I would think it would be fairly cheap and parts-o-plenty.
If you're just going to flip it, definitely do the bare minimum and at the lowest cost.

ill post up some pics of the swap when i get the new motor as well as pulling the bitch out. should be easy enough plus the nice part is i have the passenger side head that i can easily sell for 200 bucks since it has no damage. dont know what else would be work my while to sell off the damaged block, maybe crank, 7 good rods and pistons (yest to be determined), oil pan, intake manifold, fuel rail, injectors, etc... we shall see lol
