Greetings from Frozen Michigan,

Thanks to the piss poor Turanza tires I had a little spin out in beautiful Michigan weather and cracked a tail light cover. Just wondering if anyone knows a good place to find replacement parts for an 04 TL?, hoping to save a little cash.

It'll probably be hard to find only the cover...I'd expect that you'd have to buy the whole assembly.

I'm would definitely check out the acuraautomotiveparts.com They seem to have a good amount of parts. What snowbank do you live by in Michigan?

I live in Grand Rapids as well, hoping to get my tire problem fixed Tuesday at East Acura

Well I'm glad to have a fellow TL'r in the area. I have been seing more and more since last year when I picked mine up.

Yeah, I have been seeing a few more too. I have a Nighthawk Black Pearl if you see one around the SE area. Are you still on your factory tires? I'll post what happens with getting replacements at East, have to take her in for the recall.

my tail light was cracked by a hit and run... unfortunately you cannot buy just the lense cover, but rather the whole assembly....

Thanks for the info Shibby, fortunately mine crack is purely cosmetic, but little imperfections suck, better start pricing whole assemblies

I only use the factory tires in the winter - in the summer on put on aftermarkets. I wasn't aware there was a recall on them. I'll keep my eye out for the NBP's. I am always on that side of town for work around 28th and East Paris. Good luck with the tailight situation.

The recall is for a transmission part, if you havent already done. It mainly as issue for older TL's.
