Lot of miles. Mostly highway? Front end is probably chipped up from road debris. California car - no snow/salt? A-Spec kit. You can get a good polish and get the paint back to 'like new' shine I'd bet. Interior doesn't look terrible for that mileage. Hows the trans?

No clue, I live 2,600 miles away from that car...still want it though. Biggest mistake I ever made was getting rid of my '04 6spd. Now with the nice weather and all starting to show up, I really want something fun and unique to start running Hill Climbs, and doing track days with.

I also hate black cars ever since owning a Berlina Black S2000 and a Nighthawk Black RSX-S. And yes, Central Connecticut, a solid 5 days driving haha. Man I want this ....but part of me wants to enjoy being a selfish 24 year old and buy another S2000 >.<

I mean I would avoid this one, just because of mileage and side dealer. There has to be a problem somewhere. I want to learn how to drive a mans. trans.
I want a blue S2000 and a 2003 Blue NSX. And a Pearl white MDX or Red.

but I am not in a financial position to own all three cars. Once I am done with college and make my living that is my goal. So if you can find a low mileage S2000 go for it, if not try to find a lower mileage TL.

Mileage doesn't scare me. The F series is a timing chain engine so as long as the compression is good, and car drives well I'll gladly buy a 100,000 mile example. Same with the TL, though I'd prefer that the timing belt be done on it so I don't have to . Timing jobs terrify me.

Once you know how to gain access to them its not a problem. Much easier with the proper tools also, my uncle and I did mine together, he owns his own mechanic shop. So I had access to all his tools and such. As for myself I would not want a close to a 200k mile car, especially when I doubt the dealer will get the timing job done, who knows if the car was put through hell on the freeway or in the city.

When I was looking for a TL or MDX, I noticed they had many ads for those car at this one dealer. but what turned me off was most were high mileage to me is over 100k miles for 4 yr. old cars(MDX). So I usually stay way from side dealers unless they focused just on Japanese imports only which I am sure they have a few in LA.

Lots of miles... obviously highway. The exterior can be fixed, and the ASPEC is a nice bonus. The interior looks pretty decent, too. The tranny will more than definitely need to be replaced which is probably close to $1500 or so. If it's accident free and doesn't need much maintenance, I would offer $10,500. Maybe $11,000 OTD... Not bad for an ASPEC Type-S 6spd...

I would suggest you keep looking, I waited and ended up with my ABP 6SPD with an A spec kit already on it. Keep a lookout a George Hart Nissan, thats where I picked mine up.

200k miles doesn't scare me at all but for a TL sport I'd pay no more than 6k. The type s factor really sweetens the deal since id ideally love to gut the car in a few years and use it as a dedicated hill climb/track/tarmac rally car. And The things I've put my old TL through...They can most definitely take A LOT of punishment.

The 6 speed transmissions are not glass like the autos. If it has had the fluids changed it should be fine. Trust me I've destroyed and treated Honda manual trannys like a Mexican hooker on cinco de mayo...the J series 6 speed is a rock.

I've been browsing nationwide with no luck.

Todd Cooperrider's black Type S was in the Black Market. It was $20,600-It's a stunning car. Is it still there?

It might be well worth it for you to at least get in touch with Todd and see if he is willing to negotiate. Todd is a highly respected professional detailer and you can bet that the paint will be absolutely flawless and well cared for.

Appreciate the advice, but I'm trying to purchase a condo for myself within the next 6-8 months so I'm looking to stay under $15,000 firm. Todd's car is pristine and worth every penny he's asking for so I'm not going to waste his time, or mine by low balling him $15k. Plus, the car is automatic.

I am mechanically capable of installing any modification, and fixing nearly anything that is to break on the vehicle so the mileage truly does not matter to me. Whatever I buy next will most likely never get sold, and if it does its going to be as a dedicated track car with a welded in roll cage, fully gutted interior vehicle that's weighing in at around 2700lbs. That's why I'm not too concerned with resale value unlike how I use to be. I'd skip on a car if I for whatever reason the price, or issues it had would reflect a poor resale. If that car was within a days drive I'd go see it and drive it back if they took 10k for it. And I would consider a TL Sport, but considering the astronomical prices people/dealers are asking for them, I rather just spend an extra couple of grand and get the TL-S. It has many factory advantages that I'd fork over the extra cash for since I'm going to daily it for a few years at least.

Does the front splitter can be installed without the left and right support. The right and left support was discontinued to any online acura oem store.Thanis.
