^ Stick with white. Otherwise you're just drawing unwanted attention.

A lot of us use these....http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81133-1-2.html

I just received my order from V-LEDs and all of the bulbs but one work and look great. I had an issue with one of the 6 LED flank bulbs i was trying to install in the right map light because the base was too thick (looking up and down if you lay it on a flat surface not side to side looking at it upright). I emailed about a free replacement, and it sounds like they are trying to do an exchange and would like to avoid that hassle.

Is there any way to widen the socket a tad (expand the metal prongs) to allow the bulb to fit? I am worried that trying to use a screwdriver to expand it would cause an issue because I would be sticking a metal object onto the metal prongs. Has anyone altered the socket to get a bulb to fit before?

Not really clear from your description but I think I know what you mean. The flanks (4 or 6 bulb) are a tight fit in the domes. Are you absolutely sure it won't fit? I mean, my front flanks were real tight but after some wiggling they went in. I don't think you want to go messing with the housing in this case.

I don't think you should really expect a "free" replacement. Sounds like they are offering to send you a new bulb and have you send yours back. What's wrong with that? I know, it's a hassle but that's business. I had to do this with a defective bulb. Took awhile to get things straight but in the end I got what I needed.

I try again tomorrow, but I was really pushing and it didn't want to go in. The other one went in easily. I guess I am just a little impatient...took over a week to get the bulbs and the one looks very nice, so I want all of them in..lol.

^ I hear you. It does take a long ass time to get them for us east coast people which is why I would suggest trying again just to be sure it won't go. Like I said, I had a bad one that I had to get replaced. Went out the second day! But, Vleds didn't give me any problems replacing it......but, they did send me the wrong bulb the first time. So, with as long as it takes them to ship, it took almost a month to get everything straightened out.

In the end it's worth it since for me these are by far my favorite mod.....just sucks waiting.

The turn signal/running front light has 3 wires, black and 2 others, the resistor attaches to the ground/black wire and the turn signal wire, which of the other 2 wires is the turn and which is the running wire?

I certainly have tried. I tried again during lunch yesterday, and that bulb does not want to go in. Guess I'll have to exchange it for another one, and wait 1-2 weeks lol

Woooo! I tried one last time tonight, and I got the one bulb to go in! My finger is a bit sore though from pushing...lol. Now I need a trunk light, and maybe some backup lights...not sure if it is worth it for the few times I actually back up at night...lol

lol yeah I only got them to finish my car off. I like the way they look but you will never see them and hardly anybody else will either. They aren't any brighter than stock really as far as light output is concerned, so mainly its just for the look. A look which will rarely be seen by anyone. Trunk light on the other hand I would do, get a big 30 LED panel and put it in there.

Thanks but its FRIED. I tried that. I am sending the bad one back tomorrow, its been in a box for 4 days to return it, V-LEDS said they will send me a new one. I have a new one in now, as I paid $39 plus $9 for 2-day shipping. Now the new one yesterday stopped working on the running white LEDS, but the turnsignal amber works fine. This morning its working correctly ???

does anyone have a more recent order to the lights for the domes and interior lights. It seems all the other ones are sold out or have been replaced by new ones...

After having 2 switchbacks go bad on the driver front side, they have both worked great for a week, now the same driver side is flashing fast, like the 6 ohm resister fried. The bulb still works as it should, but I guess the resistors fry also ???

Trew did send me to VLED's, he should get some sort of cut. The order was $300 but the 15% still works so it was like $257. Fuckin nuts. But I did get brightest ones for every location. My reverse lights were $50 but they are 5 watts so they are super bright. Cant wait to get them all.

It sounds like it. My switchbacks have been working just fine for ~6 months now, no problems at all.

I am running two 6 ohms on each side I had the same problem but I thought it was because I had switchbacks in my sidemarkers also. I tried switching the resistors so I know they were both good cause the same side always hyperflashed no matter what. Anyways I bought an extra set of resistors and it works fine now.

IIRC it got me 10%, but I think clublexus only got me 10% one time also. Seems to be back up to 15% now. Or it could have been because I was placing too many orders, at one point it wouldn't let me use either one lol
