does anyone know what is the difference between these 2 type of LEDs at vleds.com?

2 HID WHITE 6 LED LIGHT BULBS 194 168 158 2825 W5W s

V-LEDS HID WHITE 6 LED M-SMT FLANK BULBS 194 168 158 2825

looking at the numbers, i assume they will both fit the dome lights. Are they just different in the amount of brightness?

Flank bulb is a panel of LEDs. The brightness on the flank is better (M-SMT) as per the LED Guide. Here's the guide.
http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/f...age/Bulb_Guide

Are these flanks the brightest dome lights we can get? Has anyone seen these first hand or have them installed?

You want bright? I'll give you bright: http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

I have these in all 4 domes...stare straight into them at night and you'll go blind.

i don't want them super bright when they come on, just something comparable to the stock lights will be fine.

Nah, the actual board fits fine, but the damn wire is so long, it takes a while to get everything to fit fine and straight. Tape is necessary.

Has anyone bought these:

http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...33236243244249#

in conjunction to these:

http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...47238241252241

and been sucessful in having LED's for DRLs? Those harnesses sound great since they directly address 9005 low voltage DRL systems, but does it work?

no worries guys i just ordered 900$ worth of LEDs for myself and 10 of my customers..... lmao....superbrightleds is a good company but vleds is by far on top of their game...its about preference....ive been using both companies for a long time for customers cars. the resistors are fairly priced as well..... i pay 2.78 a resistor wholesale and they sell 2 of them wired with clips on the end for 10 bucks thats a pretty good deal.

EVOL great info man i havent had time to look at how many and what kinds id need but that just added to my order lmao!!!

i wonder if the companies give more of a discount for higher volume orders

Trew you got the 30 LEDs for the domes? I was takin with ifirahse via PM he said the 30 is too bright for him and he is going to try the 6 LED flanks in the domes. I bought 4 30 LED for the domes but now I think that might have been a mistake lol. I was going to check out ifirahse's car in person with the 30 LEDs to see how I like them but haven't been able to yet.

Yes. I got the same 30 LED flanks that ifirahse has in his domes. It's seriously bright, but I LOVE it! As ifirahse said, you just can't look directly at them or you'll see spots - LOL

I say get them. They will definitely make a statement. The light is really cool and clean. It's almost like daylight at night. I certainly don't regret it.

Get some double-sided tape to mount them, and definitely do a search for the proper way to pop the diffusers off.
