Thanks. So your really running 12 ohms on each switchback, correct?

Why are you ordering 3 for the license plate and doors? I believe they come in pairs, and the license plate requires 2 bulbs as well as the doors. Unless you want an extra pair?

I made a post back on page 3 with my current setup, refer to that:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=116

Also you can substitute some items like say 30 LED panels for dome and map if you want a crazy bright setup like Trew. Mine is a more conservative interior setup.

The flanks will fit in your map lights. As for the 74 bulbs not sure what you are asking I have the same ones in my center console and glove compartment.

Bulb size is a 74 and once you pop the white cover and pull it out just twist the side where it goes in like 1/4 rotation and the bulb/socket/wire part will come out.

I have the same ones as woot. Here are some pics, not at night though. I can tell you at night are when they really shine. No pun intended.

Might be a little late but, a word of advice on the lower door bulbs. Get the smallest/shortest bulb you can. If the bulb is longer you'll get a more pronounced "hot spot" through the lense.

Tried to link the ones I used but the site isn't loading right. You'll still get a hot spot but the shallower the bulb, the less it will be.

Yeah for the door bulbs I like the ones I am using, they disperse the light pretty well. Here is the link to them:
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81039-1-2.html

You still get somewhat of a hot spot but it is less pronounced than the ones that fire straight forward only.

^ Those are what I should have went with.

I have these. I like the idea of having the led's firing in different directions for that location though. The bulbs I have work well but I think the ones you got would be a little better.

Ok guys, I got my lights today and installed all of them except for the vanity lights because I could take the plate off.

Any tips on how to remove the damn plate? I looked in the DIY section and came up empty.

Thanks

I ended up removing the metal plate and light box out of the headliner by accident. Was able to get everything back in luckily.

I just installed leds throughout my car last weekend. Only tool I used was a standard butter knife. Just slip it in from the right side of the light (on drivers light) between the cover and metal braket and pop it out. Only light that really gave me some trouble was the trunk light, which I needed to pry open with a flat-head.

Received some leds today and installed them earlier.

I got these for the doors
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81083-1-2.html

And I got these for the reverse lights
http://www.v-leds.com/2-V-LEDS-HID-W...-p4835712.html

Sorry for the cellphone pics. They look more blue in the pics and I was also under a street light but in person they are white.

I wish the door lights where brighter so I may be changing them in the future.

I gave up on the vanity lights. I tried everything and was only damaging the lens and metal bracket in doing so. I'll just use the the lights for back-ups.

I started replacing my stock wedge bulbs with V-LEDs. Here's the difference between the stock and 30 LED board light.

You can do it man just pop the whole metal bracket out. I bent the crap out of my metal bracket when I took my first one out but you can fix it with some pliers and put it back in and it looks perfect. I thought I was destroying my visor the first time I tried it haha, but it turns out fine once you pop the metal bracket out you can get it back in no problem just adjust the tabs until it slides in easy but still stays in.
