I sent my paypal payment this morning for the NBP TL replica. Although the race between nbp and silver appears to be over.

Why did we buy these models? Because unless you only drive your TL on weekends and in nice weather and intend to keep her more than 20 years, this will be a nice keepsake collectable. That's why I'm adding this to my collection of cool cars that either my freinds or I have driven or dreamt about since highschool.

My collection: black 67 GTO - black 69 Charger - black 71 Cuda - silver 72 240Z
dream cars: 65 Goldfinger silver Aston Martin DB5 - 03 silver Aston Martin Vanquish

As you can see, I have had a thing for either black or silver cars since I started driving. I love both colors, but when your in your 40's with 2 daughters life is easier with a silver car.

At one time, I had models of all the cars I had owned.

84 Ford Mustang GT Convertible
90 Ford Thunderbird
90 Nissan 300ZX
90 Ford Taurus SHO

One day, my mom was cleaning house and found my models, and gave them all away as she figured I didn't need toys anymore...

I doubt if I would be able to find most of those models anymore... especially the Mustang...

Just got my NBP!!!! awesome model, worth the money, and it's heavy as a stone....love it, although it seems to be sitting way higher than the real 1, but when u look at the wheel wells, the clearence between the wheel and the tire seem right ....but anyways, great model....

btw, on the trunk of mine it says "CURA" not "ACURA"...the "A" is missing lol

Got my black RL today

Hey Fellas,

My black RL arrived today. Everything is fine (beautiful model) except the stick shift seems to be broken off of mine, and the main post is nowhere to be found in the packaging. If it was there, I would simply glued it back on. It seems like someone was trying to shift the stick (it does look movable) and broke it off, but didn't put the broke piece in the the box. Now it looks like a mini stick shift. Others who ordered the RL let me know if you have the same situation, then I will know it was a factory error. I have collected these cars from China before. They are heavy and very detailed. With the right camera and background many wouldn't even know that they are models. Anyway, enjoy.

My silver TL arrived today! I discovered that the rear center armrest folds down, and the front seats slide back and forth. Excellent detail and functionality. Only problems were the "A" badge in the grill was slightly crooked, and the tail pipe tips needed adjusting.

**CAUTION** If and when you need to clean the model off, use caution around the wipers. A cloth or paper towel can catch on the wiper ends and bend them out of place. I was able to bend mine back using tweezers.

Great job Dave.

Dave,
You are the man....thanks so much for going through with this. I received my Anthricite TL today and it is awesome. I've collected toy cars since I was a kid, and this is by far the most detailed one I've ever owned. I originally thought the price was steep but really wanted one to match my car....now I know why the high price. Did you guys notice that even the seats are "soft touch" like they're leather.

Thanks Dave !!! I received my Dark gray (Antracithe) TL today. I used to put together very detailed car models, but this one is really amazing, from the functional suspension, steering wheel and sunroof to the seatbelts in all the seats and the felt in the trunk and interior, this is the most complete car model I have seen for this price.

Great job Dave.

Got my silver TL and black RL today. Taking them to the office in the AM for display.

What incredible detail, with all the moving parts. The only fly in the ointment is that on the TL, half the rear "Acura" on the left was missing, but I can live with that.

Happy with my purchase.

Thanks for setting it up, Dave!

WOW!
Apparently, my Dad just got one of these. It's incredible. Unfortunetly, the first thing I noticed was that the passenger sides mirror is dangling on there. *massive tears*

In my younger years, haha, I had about 15 1/18th scale models. I had no money then (13 years old?), so I never had any of the Sharper Image models, I was more a $18 KB Toy Store kind of guy. But this would have been a dream toy! I'll take some nice pictures of it in a bit.

Huge props to SuperComputers for actually following through with this and delivering. It speaks highly of you.

Guys I am glad for the most part you are happy. The pics look great, Again I did not check all the cars they looked packed real well. If any of you run into a situation with something that is a really bad mistake Let me know I will do my best to barter with the maker but again keep in mind they are from China. Its real tuff to work it out.

Guys, for you that want to show your appreciation to Dave for doing this, i think we should send him some gratuity.....I already sent him a tip through paypal (allarndproducts@yahoo.com) because i beleive he deserves one, he risked a lot of money buying these things and he still has a lot sitting at home... the shipping came out to be a lot more than expected...mine was $11, also it was a lot of time for him making the deal and shipping out all these to us at such a low price.

so if you are satisfied with your model, send him a $10 tip or so to show your appreciation to him. To an individual, come on, $10 is nothing, we all drive 30K+ cars and $10 won't make a differance to us, but to him, it would make a difference when they add up to help him out with all the money he lost that he was not expecting to. Now he has a bunch more sitting at home....

I, as a business owner like himself know how it is and that would help, little form each of us would add up to a good amount for him...and mabe he'd consider more awesome group buys in the future....i live in vegas and i know gratuity is much appreciated, so whoever feels like Dave deserves a tip for what he did, please send him one to allarndproducts@yahoo.com

Thanx a lot Dave!!
