Ok so i will probably hunted down by many of the members on the forum for asking this.

I was thinking of trying to find someone who has 08 G37 and wants a bigger car for whatever reason and trade it for my 08 Type S...

I wonder if this would be a fair trade for both parties? both cars are almost in the same range (08 TL is about 36k, 08 G37 is about 34-36k).

Since it would seem I am "stuck" with my car, might as well trade it for something I have a fetish for. My dream car is the Aston Martin DBS, this is about the closest to a super coupe in my budget...

If you can find someone willing to do the trade, I would say go for it. I would say it's more than a fair trade for you and the G37 will be losing out. I say that only because it's going to be hard to find a G37 in that price range as most of them will have some options/packages which will inflate the price. A friend of mine was looking at one that optioned out to about $45k.

hm you're right, i was look at the price of the base model w/o options. i forgot you had to add options. when i bought the type S, it was either with hi-perf tires or without and i was done.

oh well i guess i'd have to add.
