07 tls factory bodykit

I'm a new member don't really no how to get around yet so excuse my noobie questions.

I just received my factory body kit from Acura for my 07 TLS don't really see any instructions inside the box so my question is does anyone know or have any suggestions on how to install the body kit? Should I do it myself or take it to a body shop?

if you think you are good at following instructions then go ahead save you some money...the body shop will charge like 300 for labor or even more..

Thanks guys really appreciate the help. Looks complicated so might have to leave it to the pros. Does anyone know if there are any pics referring to this install.

Zeus, go to the regional section of the forum. Post in the region you're from. I'm sure fellow members will be willing to help you out for much less than what the stealer will charge.

Yes, look in the 3G Garage (sticky on the main 3G page). There are a couple of threads in there with pics.

This is one of the easiest installs you will ever do.

I went to the 3g garage with the stickys but I don't have permission to view the pics. It's probably because I'm a new member actually I have almost no permission to do anything. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this. Thanks again..

I think you should be able to install it yourself. I'm 16 and I can do it...you should be able to too. The directions are really easy, and everything is self explanatory. Also use the DIY's that are on the site and also use this owner's manual on here, here they are...

Just read the direction, have all the tools ready, and take your time.

I used to be just like you and thought I couldn't do this at all. That time I had almost 0 car experience, have never changed my oil, rotated my tires, etc... Now I can do most of that + more, you have to try before you can learn anything.

And I'm sure someone local in NY (regional forums) could help you out if you buy them a 6 pack.

Thanks everyone for the help.. I went ahead and installed the body kit with a lot of help from my cousin who is a genius with anything that has to do with automotives I really appriciate all the help. Not as hard as I thought as many of you said it would be easy anyway. Now for my next venture to get my hands on some custom tail lights that I've been seeing on the road every now again ( the one's with the black bezel and the rest is all clear ) cool looking, but can't seem to find them anywhere.
