The horsepower difference is the way the SAE calculates its horsepower. I think you are now required to include the power steering pump in the HP calculations.
They did not do anything to the engine, just the way they calculate the HP.

I can't believe these threads keep popping up. This is a TL enthusiast site and suddenly you notice the TL's HP rating is lower than it was a previous year... common sense should tell you that TL enthusiasts noticed this first and have probably already discussed it.

Why are you guys lying to him, we all know Acura lowered the HP so the RL Would seem like it has more, Dont deceive him, we all know everyone is starting to buy the used older models now because they are faster.
