lol good luck finding one...
1.) Not many 6MT TL's out there...like only 5% of total TL's are 6MT
2.) Not many people race TL's....much better chance of finding time slips in the CL forum
3.) The people who race TL's....most of them are modded....
So really..good luck...hahha

It's not possible to determine what form of measurment of acceleration is better than the other, there are just too many variables that way. There is no one true constant source for basis of comparison. The fact that the TOV TL ran a 14.2 is enough to determine that in most cases it can be done with a 60 ft in the 2.1's, as they and many others here have stated. Most here aren't getting that, and may need the assistance of quality tires. Considering that, an A-spec setup should be able to generate a 14.2 more consistently than a reg MT, even if the magazine #'s may not be 100% in line with the track. You don't even need to look at any times to determine that. As a side note, any one track time should not be set in stone, it's purpose is generally for the driver's benefit in terms of determining and improving their own ability. IMO, the best form of comparison with the least variation is a side by side run, be it street or track, for when also considering reaction time. The point being it's done at the same time with the same conditions, only variables to account for are the drivers and vehicles themselves. Also keep in mind that a 1/4 mile time is just that, an acceleration test to 1320 ft and nothing more, sometimes there is more to the story.

And Krska.. don't come back here talking trash. I know where you live, I know where your parents live, I know what your cat looks like. Don't try it punk.. you need to go back to XS / my.is / clublexus
Nobody respects you here. So do us all a favor and take your juvenile racing fantasies and thoughts somewhere else.

Sigh...this is why threads get closed, because of hostility portrayed already by MT. Great, you were right how a stock TL can pull of 14.2s, congratulations. I would have assumed that too. With tires, I wouldn't doubt a stock Accord/TL 6MT can hit 13.9. All it needs is a 2.0 60' and it should be able to, given the factory 98ish MPH trap. I'd love to do it but am too lazy to take off everything.
Instead, I'm aiming @ 13.8 on stock tires

2step it =)
or pretend it, lol..
my cousin with a civic Si just launched it at 5-6k.. constantly flooring it on the track with cut out open.. he ran a pretty good time, forgot what the time was, but it wasn't bad...
I beleive the TL has a rev limiter as well, should give it a try.. however, i don't think it's good for the engine..

There are always risks with going to the drag strip so for now I'll stick to modding and maybe take it one more time once I have all the performance mods I want. I'm happy with my time right now

Yeah I don't want to do that lol I don't want to go back to the track anytime soon because I really wanna take care of my car. If I get stickier tires I'm afraid of breaking an axle

Hello, i live in Greensboro NC and noticed your post on here about the dragway in Conord that you have used a few times. I got on their site but it did not have much information on when it is opened to the public. Can you provide some more information, cost per run etc?
Thanks
