05 Tl

Hi everyone, great forum by the way...

I just put a deposit down on a 05 TL athracite, ebony with navi..
Asking price was $33,275 excluding tax, title, etc..
Has anyone else bought or put a deposit down on a 05?
Trying to get a better price if possible. Two weeks ago, I had a deposit on a 04 TL with the same spec as above for $32,500 but cancelled the purchase. Decided to wait for the 05 instead. Thanks

That's the best price I've seen for an '05 TL with Navi, but my deal is close... $33,335.

05 Tl Buyers: Please Specify Your Dealers!

Has anyone else bought or put a deposit down on a 05?"

Thanks for the info! To all good folks posting on this thread: when you tell us about your great price, please tell us who the great dealer is! This is the only way for us to give each other real leverage.

Thanks,
Luke

Thanks for all of the good pricing information in my other thread. I put an order in for an '05 blue/camel 6MT Non-navi at $32,065+ tax and tags with the ability to renegociate the price if I can find it for less elsewhere. The deal was MSRP less 1500 for a non-navi or MSRP less 750 for a navi.

I suspect that I should pay less than that. Anyone get a better price on a similarly equipped '05?

Aw1, Who's your dealer?

Aw1, Does the $33,275 include delivery?? Who's your dealer?? I'm in the NY City area myself, and could consider using him.

Thanks,
Luke

Where'd you get that deal, and was it navi or non-navi?

dealer

hi everyone, sorry for not checking in sooner. i went to plazaautomall in brooklyn, also known as acura of brooklyn. my sales guy told me that many other dealerships that they work with are pressuring them to raise their sales price to msrp or a little below. not sure if they are going to do this or not. for the ones who are interested in getting the 05, good luck and hope you guys get a great deal. my car is being built in october and the schedule delivery date either in late oct to early nov.

Hey luke, what part of yonker you from? I live on Cook ave. If your looking to buy a TL, go to Acura of Westchester in larchmont. My father knows one of the salesmen there. Got an MDX for someone and a TL for me for just 300$ over INVOICE. I picked up my car the same day (NBP, Ebony). The destination fee was waived, my father and i drove there and i drove my new car back home. Easy to deal with those people, im sure you will get a great deal with them.

Dr. Murdock, thanks for the tip. I live in east Yonkers near Bronxville. Acura of Westchester's very easy for me, especially since I pay regular visits to the Guitar Center just up the street from there. Give me the name of your salesman and I'll say you sent me! Would he know who "Dr. Murdock" is??

Regards,
Luke

If you have bought in the Atlanta area recently, please post or PM me. I want to buy soon and am getting the "MSRP and no less" BS from the dealers around here for an '05.

rodimusv6:

That is $1500 off of of the MSRP of $34,900 plus the destination of $570. Totaling $33,970
plus tax and license.

This is from Cerritos Acura. I talked to the fleet manager, he offered that off the bat and I decided to go with it. On order now

If you click on the link to my post, Mike JUST called me back and gave me a sweet deal, let me know what you think. And I told Mike that I am sure some local NY guys will come see him.

Luke, let me know if you want Mike's #, pm me and I will also give you my name to name drop so he knows that us guys here on this site are referring him business.

I've contacted BJ's and the Acura dealer rep is supposed to contact me. They only list the 2004 TL on the BJ's web site but I am sure the 2005 should be comparable.
