Tire pressure and door locks

Something strange happened to me today, tire pressure was very low due to the weather, went down to 30 in the back and 32 in the front.
The doors wouldn't lock or unlock from the handle, only from the remote.
As soon as I filled the tires to normal pressure the doors lock and unlock started to work again.
