Thanks!
Oh my, they really upped the bling-bling factor. I always assumed that the FWD RLX did not have fog lights (not even as an option) bc they were not necessary due to the jewel eyes. Now this makes me ponder. I do have to see all that lit up at night bc I suspect it might be a little too much.
To me the back & sides were a little more bland than the front so hopefully they spiced stuff up there as well. (chrome door handles please).

Thanks for the update.
Edmunds just posted a review of the new Accord Hybrid. They detail how the hybrid electric motors interface with the gas engine. While I am sure the RLX will have a few more tweaks I found the explanation of the basic setup very interesting. The RLX will likely have some similar technology. Since we are all starved for info on the RLX hybrid some may find the Edmunds review of interest.

Does anyone have an idea if we will see any early reviews prior to the end of Nov. when Acura will be offering test drives at the LA Auto Show??

I would imagine that certain things will be similar but these are going to be very different drivetrains. As I understand it, the RLX will use three motors. One motor coupled to the seven speed DCT transmission, and two motors on the rear axle for torque vectoring.

The LED headlights throw light at the far front of the SUV, but the LED fog-lights illuminate the road right in front of the front bumper as well as both sides of the road.
So there is no wasteful overlap in light coverage with the LED headlights and the LED fog-lights both on at the same time.

Turn Signals
Just occurred to me that the lower lights on the FWD models are turn signals so perhaps those new LEDs are turn signals as well instead of fog lights. Which I think would be much better because having all those little lights on at the same time looks like it may be LED overkill with the JewelEyes.
Sadly, my hope for chrome door handles did not come to fruition. Hopefully my wish for something other than brown wood on the interior will come true ...
That is not a bad exterior color; too bad it only comes with the beige interior or I would consider it.

I'm sorry but if that's all they could come up with for the exterior for the new AWD RLX how sad! I would expect at least a different bumper, maybe an aero kit option? How does Acura miss the most easy changes when it comes to their vehicles. If I was looking to buy a AWD RLX I sure as hell want it to look a little different as well. Acura you are really losing your fan base! Wake the F$%^ UP!

Three Wheelin'
I'll reserve judgement on the looks of the AWD RLX until I see it in person. I'm guessing they'll have different wheels and a few other tweeks.
My first impression is that I prefer the look of the front end as seen in the leaked pic, but it is really hard to tell from just one picture.
I'm mostly stoked to drive the new hybrid SH-AWD with the healthy boost of power and gobs more low end torque.

Acura Hybrids
The more that I think about it, I wonder if the only changes the hybrid is going to get are the lower light area & rims ... besides the badges. That is all the ILX got, so it there is a precedence.
I was hoping for more but am glad that they did not add blue tint to the lights & grille like Hondas.
