Pinstriping Anyone?
As much as I really like the RLX I am getting bored with the solid white refrigerator look so we went out and added some tasteful pinstriping to breakup the solid color....Boy did that make a difference! Makes it look like a whole new vehicle, and even the dealership liked it.
Anyone else???

My instincts say no, and that this was never a part of our traditions.
But...by all means, give us some pictures and see if you can convert us! :-)

I am also part of the "skeptical" but I am withholding final comments until I see the pics. I have been surprised in the past by things I would expected otherwise....
On a separate topic....Canada is offering crazy lease deals for loyal Acura customers. I can drive a Tech model for less money than my TL at the money! That is just crazy, and if I was just a little older, I would jump on one.

If you can't figure it out, I am sure that you could email to any one of us and we'd be happy to do it.
Looking forward to seeing the difference it makes.

I think we're all curious about a distance shot that shows the visual interaction of the straight line of the stripe with the wing bulge of the A arm travel.

And I see that I am not the ONLY person who has trouble fitting a 197" long RLX into a modern mass produced garage.
Just barely...barely fits. :-)

LOL....
I've thought about it. But this is a little cottage out in the country that is part of an overly strict HoA.
If I started a project as big as extending the garage, the Board would have a collective apoplexy.
I was lucky they allowed me to annex some easement and put up a vinyl fence.

Sorry guy/gals took the pix in the garage late at night, no sunlight. Will try today

I WILL say this - the sides of the RLX contain a lot of unadorned real estate, and especially in a white car, some kind of ornamentation to visually break up the expanse of sheet metal isn't a bad idea.
I considered the body side moldings - both for this purpose and for protection from door dings - but they mount so low that they wouldn't be much help.

I only have them because I lucked out. After deciding on a price, the only car the dealer could find already had them installed. :-)

Hey guys, as soon as we get our temps back above freezing I'll take some better pixs. currently it's hovering about 17deg's, and after shoveling our new snowfall I'm both to tired and quivering...

Pansie. It's now 0 degrees F here tonight. AGAIN. Swimsuit weather!
I don't usually like pinstripes, but that one does break up the white on the RLX. Nice job.

The website quotes 196.1 in., which is only 2 in. longer than the TL! Thought I would have trouble fitting it in my townhome garage, but it's OK, as long as I fold the mirrors.
