LDW question

I noticed in my 2018 RLX that the LDW alerts you on the left side when you are very close to the line, one foot maybe, I get a kick from the steering wheel, but on the right side it is happening when I'm over the line already?
Is it normal?
Which camera is responsible for this, the front on the windshield or the camera below the side mirror?

Hi
Be sure you don't have any filth obstructing any of the cameras on the vehicle. This as well as water sticking to the cameras cause havoc. I use neverwet for auto glass on all camera lenses to prevent things from sticking to them.

I have to check out both systems on my RLX and MDX. I'm guessing Acura did it that way because if you cross the left line could result in a head-on collision on a two lane road. Crossing the right line would result in driving over rumble strips or on a paved/unpaved shoulder.

Any lane change detected without a corresponding input from your signal stick movement is going to be considered as unsafe because the programmers assume that you're not paying attention if you're not signaling before you move out of the lane.

The question is how far from the lane divider it alerts you, it is even from both sides?

Have you tried adjusting the LDW in the M.I.D. to see if that changes anything? I think you can change it from Narrow, Normal, Wide, or Warning Only.

Blaser

Its dead even. Should warn you almost the same from either side. Traffic jam assist wouldn't guide the car correctly if it didn't.

I have service coming out in 2 months, I will take it to the dealer to see
Was anyone able to confirm the distance?
Which camera is being used for it, front on the windshield or the cameras below the side mirrors?

The side mirror cameras are only for the 360 degree view only.
