False alarms by forward collision warning system

Yesterday I experienced this two or three times while driving. There wasn't even another vehicle or object in sight when this occurred. Went into settings and check them. It was set on normal. I switched it off and then reset it to normal. Will see if it happens again.
Anyone else experience this problem? If so, what has acura or dealer said and done about it?

There was a thread on this topic that I started. but now I can't find it. Anyway, I had this problem. The dealer 'reinitialized' the program which I take to mean that he reinstalled the software. It is less unreliable, but still mostly false alarms.

Yesterday, I experienced four false alarms in about 10 seconds on the highway. The FCW is now off until I give the car back to Acura.

I have had zero false alarms in my RLX, but in the TLX I've been driving for a couple of days, I have had some.

It seemed to be related to ice and salt coming at the car.

No falsies with FCW here.

Lots of LDW falsies in snowy conditions, though.

I have only had one false alarm.....it was caused by some k-rails in a construction zone when there was a sharp curve so the sensor detected the k-rails. As the car rounded the bend the alarm shut off.

I wouldn't call that a false alarm. Other than that I haven't had an issue.
