Another audio bug for Acura to stomp

I was listening to Pandora while driving between hospitals while on call today. I changed Pandora stations and I found that for the first song after changing stations, the old song name remained behind, finally clearing out at the conclusion of the first song of the new station.

Last I checked, Ottorino Respighi neither wrote "Funky For You", nor would he understand the concept. I was listening to a classical station then switched to something more modern....and yes, my musical tastes are eclectic like that.

Please excuse the dust, I haven't done my weekly interior dusting since I am on call.

Great musical taste Bob. I'm a fan of Respighi too.

Did Pandora update or was it the feed to the car that lagged. I have seen Pandora lag when listening on my laptop.

If the car lagged, was it via Bluetooth or cable connection. Could possible be a phone software issue as well and not necessarily the car.

....and no excuses for the dust.

Symptoms like that can be caused by a problem at Pandora network, by the lack of a solid LTE signal, or by a lack of efficient cache clearing in a car's infotainment system.

(That's what Pandora says, anyway.)

I am having an issue with my Bluetooth phone cutting out sometimes. I never know if it will work or I have to pick up the phone. I would say 20% of the time the Bluetooth drops and I have to end up picking my phone up and turning the volume of the stereo down

Find the iPhone, Blackberry, Samsung to Connect to Your Acura

There's the place to see if your smartphone is one of the units supported by default.

If it's not, and your firmware as displayed on the 8" LCD is not the current one, you can get an upgrade in an effort to get the device to work better.

An alternative, if you're up for an upgrade with your provider, is just to go get an iPhone and get it done with.

:-)

You are too funny George........It's better to change the phone, instead of the car:-)

Not sure if it is better.

But it is probably easier.

I am actually starting to really like the car. I have about 1,800 miles, and i am finding out that this car likes to be driven a little "spirited"...... I do have a question about one particular aspect of the suspension, but i will post on a separate thread.
