*UPDATE* PLEASE READ - Transfering existing threads to the new topic headers

After opening AZ and seeing the new topic headers I was wondering what the plan was to move the previous topics to each of the categories above???
It will surely make thing easier to keep track of what is going on and the follow-up responses..

Is there a plan???

Ultimately, as threads come up, they will be transferred as needed. It'll happen gradually. Just remember, most of the mods have day jobs, too.

Hey, Victor. I'll be going through and moving threads as I see best fit. My "plan" is to start on the last page of the main RLX forum and work forward. I will leave redirects for a month unless we feel that is too long or too short or too cluttered.

I'm not as comfortable throwing my weight around here as I am in 2G RL, so I don't want to step on any toes. If anyone sees a thread of their own that has been moved and they don't feel the move is appropriate, please send me a PM and we can discuss the move. If the forum feels someone else's thread has been moved and would do better elsewhere, please post a feeler in this thread so we can get input from the group. Obviously, let's keep this within reason, but I don't think we'll have too much trouble on the more mature side of the forums.

So, I'm done with pages 2-10. That only leaves one more page to sort, but that is also the page that everyone sees everyday. I don't just want to tear through page one and leave a bunch of redirects, cluttering up the main page like I did the others. Take a look at any other page, and you will see what I mean.

So here are the options I can think of (poll added for those who are too modest to respond):
- Wait 30 days for the existing threads to move down page 1 or onto page 2 and then make the moves
- Move threads from the bottom half of page 1, wait 30 days and move the rest
- Move all appropriate threads and leave redirects that expire in a week or less
- Move all appropriate threads and leave no redirects

If you can think of another option, I'm all ears.

In the mean time, PLEASE put new threads in the appropriate sub-forum. We did not add sub-forums or move all the old threads for them to never get used, and I won't be in here every month doing it for you. I am not sure why no one has placed a new thread in a sub-forum since they have been created, but I can assure you that some of the new threads belong there.

Let me know what y'all think since this is as much your forum as it is "ours".

*ducking in for a second--super busy at work this week*

I'd move the threads with appropriate redirects, but agree with a poll to ask the will of the users.

*ducking out*

There is always search...BUT, if this was the Camry/Fusion/Accord thread then I would absolutely understand the need for organization, consolidation, and clarification because the threads/links/topics would be beyond numerous. Given that this for the RLX...mostly crickets compared to mass production cars...maybe we can let it be.

Otherwise there is always search.

There's a search?

I suppose we aren't too keen on foresight around here if that is the consensus. Putting everything in one forum is great for about two years while 300 people own an RLX. Maybe you like new owners who aren't the best at using the 6 different search functions here just making a new thread about a topic that has been discussed ad nauseum but is buried under the ten RLX poor review threads.

This thread has seen ~100 views since the poll was added and not a single worthwhile vote. Not even the OP...
