Tire Fill Assist

Nube here. Hope I'm asking in the right place. I took delivery of a new 2023 RDX 2 weeks ago and I'm working my way through the 700 page owner's manual. It mentions a tire fill assist feature, but I can't find any instruction on how to use it. I presume it's similar to a feature I have on my Murano that alerts you when you've reached the recommended tire pressure when filing an under inflated tire. There is a procedure you need to use to activate this feature. Can anyone tell me how it's activated on the RDX? Thanks

Thank you so much. Very helpful. Interestingly, this is not on P. 613 of my version of the 2023 manual. Maybe buried somewhere else

Knowledge is of two kinds: we know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information upon it.

I have a 2022 RDX Advance. My tires were low today per the TPMS alert. I was using a home/auto compressor. I didn't get any notifications when it reached the right PSI. Anyone know why?

The obvious question would be, "Did you follow the instructions from the owners manual, which were included in post # 2 and #4.

In particular was the RDX in the power ON mode? Had it been in ON mode for a prolonged period where perhaps the Tire Fill Assist was no longer active. Was the engine started by Remote Start.

What pressure did you expect to hear the alert?. Did you continue to inflate above this pressure in case your compressor gauge was not accurate.

Are you aware that the built in gauge of most "DIY" compressors will always read several /many PSI higher while the compressor is operating due to the restriction in the hose. It will only show true tire pressure after the compressor has stopped.running and airflow has ceased.

I had the engine on, the compressor running and I was sitting in the car watching the PSI numbers in the center dash. I figured something would happen at 33 but nothing did. Now I am wondering if maybe I had originally started the car with the remote start. I will have to test again next time. Thanks.
