Hello, 24' RDX here, my driver's side door was replaced recently since my key lock had to be replaced also due to attempted break in. However, now when exiting the vehicle my seat does not retract and my radio stays on. Acura mentioned that there may have been a harness or connector not plugged in correctly, therefor my car doesn't know weather im in or out the car. The Body Shop says that everything was plugged in as normal and it should be working that Acura should be able to fix the issue. Acura wants to charge me 3-4 hundred jus to check. Everything worked fine before the door was replaced. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

 

Back to the body shop. It worked when you dropped it off, it should work when you got it back.

 

As Optical Toxin said - go back to the shop that replaced the door and get them to "fix" the issue and get your vehicle working as it should be. If not, then work with your insurance company if they recommended this shop - guessing this is/was an insurance claim. Keep us posted.
