Intercooler resonator

Intercooler resonator

Anyone remove and seal this?
obviously it’s there to quiet something but what?
Any thoughts-
i would like to hear those whoosh noises!

Got a pic of where it is? Is it slowing air? Lowering pressure?

just curious on what you removed????
your original post isnt very clear on what you were trying to remove.

Under the airbox is a big plastic resonator that is attached to the intercooler outlet tube-
that gets removed and a plug goes in it’s place -
kind of a pita to do for no real gains-
if you want woosh noise you need to remove the airbox resonator
