How to change brake fluid

Anyone did DIY to change brake fluid? I just purchased

please share any tips, or any other tools needed

Have used a MITY Vac for years on multiple cars/trucks and motorcycles for brake and clutch bleeding and fluid swap.

There are literally 100’s of hours on YouTube video on the MITY and other tools like it. Quality of the info varies so watch multiple videos.

Tip……. do not get hung up with bubbles in the line as some air can be sucked past the bleed screw threads. Those bubbles are not in the brake system. Teflon tape on the bleed screw threads is one way to minimize the thread leak bubble.

Be sure to pump the brakes after the bleed process on that initial start before dropping it in gear. The pedal might very low on that first application.
