HI Everyone

Car is an A Spec 2021, I got the email about needing to upgrade, but my car doesn't show the Exclamation point and every time I try it it says it is up to date. i connected it to my WiFi home network just to see if a good connection would help and it says the same thing

1) I read here about connecting to an OTA ? can someone tell me what that is and if I should try that?
2) is it possible mine is actually up to date?
3) on a quick side note, i usually use Apple maps or Google Maps, but I am reading here that updating the Maps on the car is a separate install ? how would I know if mine is up to date or not?

They sent the email for 2021 but, it’s not ready yet.
it will be available within the next two weeks.
We will get the red indicator on the update icon when it’s available.

The navigation update is a totally separate pain in the ass. Go to owners.Acura.com and put in your VIN and get the download.

 

Just updating, i got the update and it installed just fine!

Is this the letter dated 12-15-21 about the AcuraLink and 3G network update? It has to be performed by February 22, 2022 or all embedded cellular service functionality will be lost?
So far that update is not available for my car yet. Anyone else?

All the documentation AcuraLink put together for this but they don't address if the update doesn't get pushed to the car.
