does your carplay show an acura app that is not working ? it doesnt start at all, just goes back to the icon view of apps. i dont have the app on my iphone, but shows up when i use carplay on my 2019 ilx. no comments on my ilx post so im reaching out to 3rd gen rdx owners.

 

when you start car and plugin phone, you are saying apple car play is greyed out?
It could be disabled in settings. Did you try full system reset?

 

There is nothing wrong. I have the same Ram Specific app in my truck. It’s doing exactly what’s it’s supposed to do. Every car that has CarPlay will have a make specific app. I had a Mercedes’ rental not to long ago when my ASpec was getting some work done and it had a Mercedes app. The app is part of the CarPlay interface.
