I have my RDX for about six weeks.

My wife and I both have Android LG G5 phones, I can’t tell the difference between them on the car when connected thru Bluetooth.

I tried to disconnect mine (unpair), and reconnect, but could not find a way to rename the phone during the connection sequence.

Does anybody know if there is a way to give a specific name to a phone?

In your phone's Bluetooth settings, you can rename it. Well, I can with Android version 8.1.0

On your phone, Pull down the notification tab, long press Bluetooth icon to get to Bluetooth settings

I renamed them in the Bluetooth settings, deleted existing phones on the RDX, and reconnected them. Everything works great, we can now tell them apart.
