I noticed today that my left and right lower door speakers don't emit any sound. I did the audio test and those speakers currently don't emit sound. Im currently out of warranty and when I spoke to the Acura dealership they told me there would be a $175 diagnostic fee prior to any work being done which isn't a problem but I don't really feel like they will fix the root issue based on my prior experience with service on my speakers. Is there anyone that may know of a fix I can try at home because during my lease when the car was under warranty I had to bring my car for multiple speaker issues for the center windshield/ceiling front right/ceiling back right speakers and they never quite completely fixed the issues so at this point I would rather go to a audio shop and have them change the speakers out completly but I figured I should ask here first.Thanks!

 

Have you done all the infotainment usb updates? I noticed they worked much better after one of the updates in 2020 or 2021. After the update that made the change I could feel the door resonating when I placed my elbow on the door arm rest.

 

I did all of the over the air updates I’ll check and see about the USB updates

 

OTA updates are the same ones you can get on USB. USB was meant for those that do not have cellular connection.
