So our nav for a 21 Rdx suddenly didn't work starting last weekend. I finally got some time to search for a solution and found the hidden diagnostic menu. Based on this, both the GPS and antenna are not working. Has anyone experienced this and was able to fix it yourself?
Never experienced this issue, but based on your diagnostic finding, I would guess it is either a cable, connector, or hardware component. Unless you have driven over the factory warranty mileage limit a '21 would still be under the 4 year warranty. I would go that route if it were my vehicle.

They changed out the antenna but couldn't fix it. So now they are switching out the entire nav. Didn't think it would turn out to be such a big repair.
I just purchased a 2021 RDX Advance about 4 days ago, and I noticed the navigation App wasn't showing on the screen. So I went looking for it. I couldn't find a thing. THis car only has about 12,800 miles on it as well. SO well within the CPO warranty period. Does anyone know where I can find the radio/Nav ID codes? I cannot find them anywhere in the vehicle.
If anyone happens across this issue, I had these symptoms on my ‘22. The fix was to disconnect the battery for at least 10 minutes in my case.
Other symptoms include incorrect time and date (mine went back to April 2017 at 6 am) with an inability to manually set the time (settings app crashes). Also got com.honda.datetime unexpectedly closed messages.
I tried a short time (minute or two) and that did not work, nor did the diagnostic mode reboots or factory reset.

You mention you can’t find them anywhere in the vehicle but just to be sure, the Radio/Navigation Code and the device unit’s serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. The card is usually placed in the glove box at the time of delivery and is about the size of a credit card as best I recall. You could also try the steps at Nav radio code retrieval. Note the hours of operation at the bottom of that page.

I actually just had this happen to me 2023 RDX. GPS not detected and car location on the NAV map not updating and the time defaulting to 6:00, April 16. SAT radio still works and Acuralink app can still find the location of the car. Tested Acuralink Car Finder function multiple times at multiple locations with no issues with that showing the correct location. I took it to the dealer and they will be replacing the infotainment unit. Just waiting for parts at this time.
