Cigarette Lighter Socket (Trunk)

I am looking to install a Cigarette Lighter Socket in the Trunk.

I have a Koolatron P20 Electric Cooler which uses about 4.5 AMP's per the manual.

I was thinking about running
this this
from the battery through the fire wall then run the cable along the bottom to the trunk or by using a
Fuse Tap Fuse Tap

1. Does anyone know a good spot in the firewall to run this through and to the trunk?
2. What about using in a fuse Tap? What is the max capacity that I can run
3. Also concerned about draining the battery so I was thinking about using a
Low Voltage cut off. Low Voltage cut off.
4. I also want to be able to run other devices that may use more than 4.5AMP's in the future. Was thinking to use something that can handle 30 AMP's

Does anyone have any recommendations?

You might be able to find a wire harness for tail lights for a trailer and tap into those for 4.5 Amps.

I would be very cautious about using that device for the 30 amps the fuse is rated for. It looks like the wire conductor identifies the wire as 12 AWG which is only rated for 30 Amps if it is not bundled up with a bunch of other wires or run underneath a carpet or any of the other typical methods of getting wire from the front compartment to the back. If you put it under the carpet, you should limit the current to 20 amps or use a piece of 10 AWG for the part that is buried.
