Hello, I'm thinking about installing a dash cam in my 2019 RDX. It plugs into the 12 volt outlet next to the USB port. Will my dash cam still be powered when the engine is off? I'm worried about car battery being drained.

 

No, I use the 12 volt outlet for my radar detector and it turns on and off with the vehicle.

 

Or you can use fuse tap to hardwire it, its really easy
