Dash cam

I'm trying to install a dash cam in my RDX 2014, and to keep accessory socket clear I want to hardwire using add-a-circuit kit. To my surprise both front and centre console accessory power socket fuses are "always hot" that is powered even when car is off, which means cam would be powered even if car is off. Is it expected? What I want is to use cam as "hot in start", to automatically turn it on when car started. What would be a god fuse to use? Can I use one of empty slots?

Welcome!
My accessory that's plugged into the console socket turns off when the car is off, if you tap into it shouldn't it disconnect power to your dash cam?

Right, if I plug the dash cam in socket itself, it turns of when car is off. But I wanted to free the socket and plugged into socket's fuse, and the fuse stays powered when car is off.

There is empty socket on fuse box that works perfect. Hardwired my detector to it. Check out this thread:
