AcuraLink issue

So I was approaching the end of my 1yr remote subscription. I purchased another year, then my remote feature stopped showing in the App. When I login to the acura link site via my computer I can see I have an active subscription.

Placed a call to CS and have spoken to 4 people so far, received a case number and a call back today. No progress, just wanted to re-verify things for the 4th time. Says there is a ticket open with the telematics vendor.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Try to open your profile on the phone app (The blue head in the top left corner)

Select the vehicle in question. When I traded my 2016 RDX for my 2020, both vehicles were listed under my profile for about 2 months.

At this point you should be able to see which subscriptions are active, and their expiry dates.

When I renewed my subscription for the first time, it seems that my 2016 RDX was still listed under my name, and that was the vehicle that got updated.

I have had a number of problems with AcuraLink over the years, and getting help from them is like pulling teeth..

At one time AcuraLink would not work at all for 3 months. The AcuraLink people said the problem must be a defect in the car, and the dealership said everything tested OK. They refused to talk to each other, and left it up to me to pass messages back and forth. This involved leaving my vehicle at the dealership for several days.

Eventually it turned out to be a settings error by AcuraLink, and when I asked for a 25% rebate, or to extend my subscription by 3 months they refused. Instead they offered to credit my account $50 at the dealership . Months later when I needed work at the dealership, they had no clue what I was talking about when I asked for my credit.

Good Luck

Thanks for the reply, I did show an active subscription under my profile. Today my case manager called and said it was fixed, and instructed me to sign out and back in, and low and behold, it works now!
