3 easy beginner's questions
Is that the "crowed sourced" developed one? Do I have that correct? I have the Motorola MA1, works great also. Hard to catch it in stock, but I guess I got lucky, just a few weeks and it arrived, much earlier than the sale confirmation indicated.
Yes, that's the one. Seems like I ordered it last June or July and finally received it in February.
over the weekend, I updated my sons address in my contacts on my phone. Although the car is supposed to automatically update contacts, but today - 3 days and multiple car trips later - it’s still showing his old address when I look up his address via the RDX’s infotainment system. I deleted my phone, added it back, and his address was updated. So, just as suspected, it looks like I’ll have to go through this process any time I update a contact. Thanks, Acura!
Even before I thought at deconnecting/reconnecting my phone in the car, I opened the cell and the new contact was there, showing the new phone# and address!
I checked another contact (the one that is showing only the phone# but not the address) and the adress is still missing. I made a deconnect/reconnect again and the address is still missing.
It confirms again that electronics are not Acura's forte, far from it.
Strange as I added a new contact in my cell phone yesterday to get the navigation system guide me to this place.

However, while I'm not expecting top-of-the-world experience, I, at least, expect a system that works without flaws or bugs. That's not the case for me (ie: my car has bugs and flaws)
I'm not found of having to use a cell phone to patch the working failures of a car... Also, I often don't carry my cell phone with me.
But that's surely only me and my old age as I'm not judging anyone for sure.
Same here. Anybody buying an Acura for its electronics should requestion his/her buying criterias.

I think the Navi system works quite good. What irritates me are details like the impossibility to rename saved favorites. Any cheap GPS can easily do this. Even my wife's 2019 CR-V do this in a heartbeat. I would prefer to have 2019 C-RV's navigation in my RDX.
