My cell phone plan doesn't allow creating a hot spot. So if I wanted wifi in my car I would have to purchase an AT&T wifi plan. I know I can download system updates through my home wifi. I have the Nav system so I really don't need to use maps on my phone. So what I would I lose if I didn't have wifi? Anyone out there not using wifi having any issues with car (e.g. lack of traffic info etc) ?

 

No issues without WiFi. And you can still use Apple Carplay or you phone’s map app without WiFi. In my mind, the only benefit to in-car WiFi is if you have a couple kids in the back with tablets.
