I recently received a rather big promotion at work. This promotion required me to switch offices. That is all fine and dandy, however, the parking lot for this building is very tight. Unfortunately, unlike the other office parking lot, I can no longer park out. Anyway, this morning, I discovered a good size ding on my rear quarter panel. This is only 2 weeks into moving over to the new office. I know that door dings/scratches are inevitable, but it really annoys me that people aren't more careful!

So, I just called my PDR guy, and it's going to cost me $140 to knock the ding out. Not the end of the world, but do they make any kind of ding protection molding or anything? I am going to research that this today, but just curious if anyone has anything, or has used something in the past with success?

Some say they look fugly, but I go with Body Side Moldings & Door Edge Guards to protect my 2019 Acura RDX Tech. It's a cruel world out there.

People definitely do suck and I'm sorry you had to go through this.

I actually don't mind body side molding on certain cars, might be worth a shot.


Maybe a padded car cover, if such a thing exists?
